Book Launching and The Celebration of Molteni & C’s 90^th Anniversary

On December 3^rd, 2024, the flagship store Molteni & C Jakarta will launch the first monograph book titled “MOLTENI MONDO – An Italian Design Story” by Molteni & C. This first important book is to commemorate the 90^th anniversary of Molteni & C in the Italian furniture history.

The launching party will include some local architects, clients, interior designers and will be hosted by various designers such as Alvin Jo & Deqqy – ANP, Farida Sucahyo – Fteam Interior, Budi Kurniawan – BK Studio, Alex Bayu – Genius Loci, Juliana Muljawan – Integhra Pratama Artistry, Reza Wahyudi – BOBOS Design, Joke Roos – Studio Air Putih, Prasetio Budhi – Plus Design, Eko Priharseno – AEDI Design Bureau, Marcello Decaran – KIAT Architect, Brian Gondo & Julia Lestari – Gondo Jules.

The launching will be officiated by Alessandro Ficco, Director Asia Pacific Molteni & C and Edwin Hanafi, Director of Heim (an official representative of Molteni & C in Jakarta).

Offering a cinematic view of the world of Molteni & C in book form, MOLTENI MONDO (published by Rizzoli New York) is full of exclusive interviews and archival materials showcasing the design protagonists who had shaped its legacy, including Gio Ponti, Jean Nouvel, Vincent Van Duysen, Foster + Partners, Herzog & de Meuron and many others.

Molteni & C’s 90^th anniversary goes on an inspiring journey around the worlds with exclusive events presenting “MOLTENI MONDO: An Italian Design Story”, a tribute to decades of innovation, craftsmanship, and Italian heritage.  The launching celebrations have taken places from Paris, London, Ningbo, New York, Wenzho, Barcelona, Washington and now it will be celebrated in Jakarta, Indonesia.
