From Milan to Bangalore

In Bangalore, where cultural heritage and contemporary ambition coexist, Minotti inaugurates its flagship store — conceived not simply as a showroom, but as a home in dialogue with its surroundings.

First envisioned in 2025, the project reflects a considered expansion strategy rooted in research and long-term vision. Developed in collaboration with Amber Home Interiors, the space signals a meaningful step in strengthening the brand’s presence in India, while opening new conversations with architects and designers locally.

Spanning two levels across approximately 380 square metres, the showroom unfolds as a fluid domestic narrative. Conceived by Minotti Studio, the interiors move organically between living, dining, lounge, night, and outdoor settings — creating an atmosphere that feels immersive yet intimate. The experience is refined but welcoming, composed without excess.

Materiality shapes the rhythm of the space. Natural textures, crafted surfaces, and tonal contrasts lend depth, while calibrated light — filtered through pivoting panels and architectural portals — sculpts the interiors with a quiet, almost cinematic precision.

On the ground floor, a slatted wooden ceiling and warm earthy tones establish a sense of intimacy. The entrance is introduced by the Emmi armchair by Hannes Peer, leading into a living area defined by the organic Bézier seating system by Marcio Kogan / Studio MK27, alongside Laurel armchairs by Giampiero Tagliaferri.

A sculptural dining moment centres around the Nico table, while the master bedroom presents the Yves bed — both by Hannes Peer — complemented by an intimate lounge setting. A steel and clay-coloured lacquered fireplace acts as a subtle divider between the convivial and private zones, reinterpreting 1970s references through a contemporary architectural lens.

Upstairs, a white plaster ceiling enhances brightness, balanced by wooden walls that maintain warmth and stylistic continuity. Signature pieces such as the Connery seating system by Rodolfo Dordoni and the Horizonte system by Marcio Kogan / Studio MK27 articulate the brand’s enduring language — timeless, international, and quietly confident.

The journey concludes on the outdoor terrace, where wood, mirrored panels, concrete-effect flooring, and a decorative green wall frame a curated selection of outdoor furnishings, including the Quadrado seating system by Marcio Kogan / Studio MK27. Here, interior and exterior dissolve into one seamless lifestyle expression.

More than a retail destination, Minotti Bangalore stands as a reflection of international design sensibility interpreted through a bespoke, locally attuned approach — embodying the enduring values of Made in Italy within India’s contemporary design landscape.
