B&B Italia and the Bulgari Hotels & Resorts Group Have a Long History of Collaboration

B&B Italia Group affirms once again its leadership in the hotel sector by collaborating on the exclusive Bulgari Hotels & Resorts. The long-lasting collaboration between B&B Italia and the Bulgari Hotels & Resorts Group began in 2000 with the first Bulgari Hotel in Milan and followed by the Bulgari Hotels in London, Shanghai, Dubai, Beijing, Paris and the latest in Tokyo and Rome.

BULGARI HOTEL TOKYO
Inaugurated last April 2023, the Bulgari Hotel Tokyo is the first Bulgari Hotel in Japan and the eighth gem of the Bulgari Hotels & Resorts Collection. As with all Bulgari Hotels & Resorts, the interior design of the Bulgari Hotel Tokyo has been entrusted to the Italian architecture and interior design practice ACPV ARCHITECTS Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel who conveyed Bulgari’s core values, such as contemporary design, magnificent craftsmanship and artistic details to create efficient living spaces reflecting the essence of the most sophisticated Italian style.

The hotel has 98 rooms and suites, including the extraordinary Bulgari Suite which, at 400 square meters, ranks among the largest suites in Tokyo offering some of the best views over the city, as well as the Niko Romito and Sushi Hoseki Restaurants, the Lounge, Bar, La Pasticceria, Spa and Fitness.

As part of the interior design, B&B Italia Contract Division furnished all the rooms, suites and public areas with the Maxalto collection, the group’s brand that stands out for the ‘modern classic’ soul of its creations. The elegance of Maxalto furnishings, also custom-made for the Bulgari hotel in Tokyo, coexists with the timeless contemporary design of the B&B Italia Outdoor collection, which furnishes the terrace on the 45th Floor.

The solid collaboration between B&B Italia and the Bulgari Hotels & Resorts Group therefore continues, which began in 2000 with the first Bulgari Hotel in Milan and followed by the Bulgari Hotels in London, Shanghai, Dubai, Beijing, Paris and which will continue for the Bulgari Hotel in Rome.

BULGARI HOTEL IN ROME
Inaugurated in June 2023, the Bulgari Hotel Roma is the second hotel in Italy after the one in Milan and the ninth gem of the Bulgari Hotels & Resorts global collection which currently includes, in addition to the properties in Rome and Milan, those in London, Paris, Dubai, Beijing, Shanghai, Bali and Tokyo.

Located in the central Piazza Augusto Imperatore, just in front of the Mausoleum of Augustus, a few steps from Via del Corso and Piazza di Spagna and the historic Bulgari boutique on Via Condotti, the Bulgari Hotel Roma is housed in a monumental building built in the 1930s for a total area of 14,000 square meters on seven floors.

The hotel has 114 rooms and suites, including the Bulgari Suite characterized by an area of 300 square meters and a spectacular view of the Mausoleum of Augustus. Among the exclusive experiences offered to guests: the restaurant Il Ristorante –  Niko Romito, which includes a private dining space and opens onto a large outdoor terrace; the Bulgari Bar, which features a wonderful lounge terrace; La Terrazza, a terrace on the hotel roof which offers a unique view of the city skyline.

The interior design, as for all Bulgari Hotels & Resorts, was entrusted to the Italian architecture and interior design studio ACPV ARCHITECTS Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel, which was able to balance the aesthetic rigor of the stones used in imperial Rome and the essential architectural style of the building through particularly rich textures.

As part of the interior design project, the Contract Division of B&B Italia furnished the rooms, the suites, the restaurant and the bar with a selection of products from the Maxalto collection, the Group’s brand that stands out for the ‘modern classic’ spirit of its creations. The sophisticated elegance of Maxalto furnishings, also custom made, coexists with the exclusive furnishings from the B&B Italia Outdoor collection selected for the terraces.

The Bulgari Hotel Roma represents another chapter in the historic collaboration between B&B Italia and the Bulgari Hotels & Resorts group. A collaboration that started in 2000 with the first Bulgari Hotel in Milan and followed by Bulgari Hotels in London, Shanghai, Dubai, Beijing, Paris and Tokyo.
