Liu Jo is also Living!
At the gates of the forthcoming Salone del Mobile.Milano, Liu Jo Living presents itself to the public with a stand (Hall 18 – Stand C18) to dress the home.
Renovating the home with the ease of a change of clothes. This is the philosophy of Liu Jo Living that also transpires in the new upholstered furniture collection, Coquille, designed by Simone Cagnazzo. The new product line is spontaneously inspired by the “shell” element, from which the entire furnishing project takes its name.
Like an embrace, Coquille seating is an invitation and, at the same time, a tribute to well-deserved daily idleness. Borrowing not only the poeticity but also the intrinsic meaning from Italian literature, the Coquille collection, as in a paraphrase, once the storm has passed, is ready to welcome and transmit to its users that balanced sense of peace, that sought-after and long-awaited moment of rest, obtained only by pressing the ‘pause’ button from the daily routine.

A soft nest, which envelops and contains. Just like the shell of a seashell. A Coquille, that of Liu Jo Living, deliberately configurable in various versions. With a shape that changes, from the sofa to the armchair, or from the daybed to the pouf, to sew an ideal relaxation cutout in every room of the house.
After all, even the shells in the sea are made to measure by those who inhabit them. The upholstery of polyurethane, cotton cloth and fioccogel rests on a tubular metal frame, which in turn is supported by powder-coated metal feet. Features that are common to all elements of the Coquille collection, making it sculptural and iconic.
The versatility of all furnishings is guaranteed by the removable covers. This confirms the idea of a change of clothes and underlines the concept of sustainable design, essential for a 100% Italian company.
The creative philosophy of Liu Jo Living becomes synonymous with ‘social tailoring’. In fact, the production chain not only respects the roots of typical Italian craftsmanship know-how, but also takes a direct stance toward issues that are as delicate as they are topical. This is demonstrated by the choice of materials used in the technological-functional development of products that reflect the principles of reuse and recycling, generating opportunities to improve and extend the very durability of the total look by Liu Jo Living.
