Lightness, Form, and Innovation
Italian design brand LAGO returns to Milan Design Week 2026 with a product preview that explores new spatial possibilities across living, storage, and kitchen systems—continuing its signature dialogue between lightness and architectural precision.

Marking the 20th anniversary of its iconic Air system, LAGO introduces the Air Roundy Bookcase, a refined evolution shaped by soft, curved lines. Its signature floating structure—glass-supported shelves balancing solids and voids—remains, while the introduction of fluid geometries allows compositions to adapt more intuitively to space, following walls, defining corners, and creating a more dynamic rhythm.

This same exploration of form extends into the 36e8 Formae Kitchen, where monolithic volumes move beyond linear configurations into angular, sculptural islands. Seamless finishes and handleless surfaces preserve visual purity, while suspended elements soften the composition—balancing solidity with lightness. New materials and mineral worktops further enhance durability and tactile experience, reinforcing the kitchen as both functional and social space.

Completing the preview, the 36e8 Cinema Wall Unit integrates design and technology into a single architectural gesture. The television becomes part of the composition, supported by built-in lighting and LAGO’s Invisible Sound system, transforming the furniture into an immersive environment where image, sound, and structure coexist in quiet balance.

Together, these introductions reflect LAGO’s evolving design language—one that remains grounded in lightness, while embracing a more fluid and adaptable way of living.
