Introduces Three New Finishes

Knoll merilis tiga finishing terbaru untuk empat koleksi era Bauhaus: putih, onyx, dan merah tua klasik, untuk Kursi MR dan Meja MR oleh Ludwig Mies van der Rohe, dan Kursi Wassily, Kursi dan Stool Cesca, dan Meja Laccio oleh Marcel Breuer. Peluncuran ini menandai pertama kalinya koleksi baja tubular diproduksi secara komersial dalam hasil akhir ultra-matte.

Koleksi tersebut diperkenalkan selama masa jabatan Mies dan Breuer di Bauhaus, dan warna-warna baru tersebut berakar pada institusi tersebut.

Sentuhan akhir ultra-matte merah tua pada MR Chair, terinspirasi oleh warna Bauhaus, ‘dipuji’ karena kemampuannya memantulkan cahaya, meningkatkan bentuk geometris, dan menegaskan tepian.

“When these pieces were first made by workshops in Germany their frames were painted, giving us a precedent to build on and license to take on the recoloring.
