🔹 Wood Carving Demonstration with KOPPA: 14 September
🔹 Chopstick Workshop with KOPPA: 15 September

This edition spotlights wood artist Shintaro Oku (KOPPA), renowned for transforming camphor wood off-cuts into refined sculptural forms through a zero-waste practice. Visitors can witness his skill in a live wood carving demonstration (14 Sept) and join a hands-on chopstick workshop (15 Sept).

Alongside Oku, twenty other makers present ceramics, glass, bamboo, paper, tea, and folk craft that tell stories of resourcefulness and community. From the luminous glass of MIRIYU Kōbō to the organic teas of Yamaguchi-en, the exhibition invites London audiences to experience the artistry and spirit of Kagoshima—where every object reflects a deep bond with place and tradition.
