Jaipur Rugs, India’s leading handmade rug manufacturer, unveils Jardins du Monde—a poetic new collection created in collaboration with Paris-based designer Tatiana de Nicolay and launched through Invisible Collection. This exclusive series of seven hand-knotted rugs captures the beauty and serenity of botanical gardens from around the world, transforming living spaces into tranquil, nature-inspired sanctuaries.

Each design in the collection evokes a distinct garden landscape—from the untamed charm of English meadows to the refined calm of Japanese tea gardens. Woven by master artisans in Rajasthan, these rugs blend Tatiana’s refined creative vision with Jaipur Rugs’ dedication to craft and storytelling.

The Jardins du Monde collection offers seven lush designs, each evoking the spirit of a garden reimagined. The Flower Meadow, a vibrant tribute to English gardens framed by a trellis motif, and The Tea Pavilion, which channels the meditative spirit of a Japanese garden through gentle patterns of palms and architecture. The Garden Gate suggests the allure of a secret entrance framed in bamboo leaves. The Snake Song conjures a tropical jungle alive with palms and vines, and Mysterious Labyrinth leads the eye through winding patterns of climbing foliage. A River of Roses captures countryside serenity with trellised roses and gentle waterways, bringing quiet elegance to any space. Finally, Country Gathering captures the warmth of a garden fête under a grand marquee, celebrating nature and conviviality in equal measure.

Tatiana, whose career spans haute couture embroidery and interior design collaborations with Diptyque, Lobmeyr, and Invisible Collection, drew much of her inspiration from the peaceful Albert Kahn gardens in Paris. “Each rug tells a story of cultural discovery and natural beauty,” she says. “It’s about translating the emotional richness of gardens into tactile, living art.”
