Carbon Black Seat & Sculptural Element by Verter Turroni
Nature and its elements are the protagoni- sts of a new sculptural vision. The primal, un- stoppable force of fire is captured and sha- ped, transformed ultimately into furniture. What is consumed by flames, does not cease to exist: it changes into new forms, cloaked in black charcoal. This vision of destruction and rebirth is the in- spiration behind a wide fiberglass bench, in whi- ch the traces of combustion are skilfully recre- ated through a series of smoothened ripples. This is an unusual, ever-changing seating, that grants a powerful charm to any kind of room.

The flowing, sinuous lines of the top – either oval or round – harmoniously blend with the base, designed as one or two perfectly geometric shapes. Every element of the table echoes proportions and conti- nuum, each line is crafted with skilful precision, every detail highlights attention to design and balance. The combination of gentle shape of the top and sharp lines of the base, gives a perfect sense of balance that is embodied in a metaphysical yet grounded piece, both real and dreamy, futuristic and highly functional.
