Paradoxical Scenarios
Ada yang unik dari advertising campaign Gucci Spring/Summer 2020. Beberapa kuda nampak menjadi co-protagonist dalam advertising campaign Gucci terbaru ini. Kerja sama dari Alessandro Michele sebagai Creative Director dan disutradarai oleh Yorgos Lanthimos, menghasilkan interaksi yang cukup intimate antara manusia dengan kuda. Campaign ini menyuguhkan skenario paradoks serta ke-ambigu-an dalam kehidupan surealisme.
Pengambilan gambar dilakukan di beberapa area Los Angeles, baik itu di pantai, area parkir, kolam renang, car wash, hingga di dalam pesawat. Secara visual kuda merepresentasikan “kebebasan”, hal yang menjadi inti dari koleksi Gucci Spring/Summer 2020. Melalui koleksi ini Gucci ingin menjadi kekuatan dalam fashion yang mendobrak aturan-aturan kuno dengan gaya personal sesuai masing-masing individu. Sedangkan para model dalam campaign ini terlihat menggunakan busana dan aksesoris seperti baju olahraga mewah, celana, collared jacket, alas kaki, serta tas yang dihiasi logo khas Gucci.
