Unceasing research aimed at proposing the most suitable solutions for contemporary comfort leads Gervasoni to experiment always new ways of giving shape to its domestic universe, defined by attention to detail and innovative workmanship that becomes an expressive tool.

The well-established collaboration between Gervasoni and Federica Biasi is a meeting of styles that gives life to a unique collection that recalls Thai imagery. The Samet modular sofa is born, a project that keeps the brand’s traditional stylistic features intact, such as colour, softness and that ideal of an enveloping home, reinterpreting them in a contemporary key. On the one hand, the elegance and refinement of the Gervasoni tradition, on the other, the flair and creativity of the internationally well-known Milanese designer and art director. Her philosophy is based on a clean aesthetic approach: nothing is left to chance, every detail has a precise aim.

Presented by Le Chateau Living

Attention to detail, material research, modularity and versatility of use are the aspects that define the designer’s proposal. The oriental essence of Samet is enriched with details, stitching and quilting. A simple modularity gives rise to infinite compositions with an aesthetics beyond time, from the most classic sofa to the most multifaceted, from the tidiest to the most disjointed. Samet is a sofa without rules, a multifunctional and configurable product that places man as an active subject in the composition of his own space, encouraging him to experiment with the free combination of shapes, volumes and fabrics. Available in two variants, a classic high version and a floor-standing version that is even closer to the Thai imagery from which the design was inspired, cosy and hospitable seats are juxtaposed with each other in regular and soft geometries, a dynamic design to create multiple types of more or less informal seating.
