A quiet interplay of past and present defines the latest chapter from Gervasoni 1882—unfolding through new collaborations, archival revival, and an evolving approach to comfort. The 2026 Collection brings together three distinct design voices: Roberto Lazzeroni, Vico Magistretti, and Paola Navone, each contributing to a cohesive yet layered vision of living.

Presented at Salone del Mobile.Milano 2026 (Hall 9, Booth A09–B10), the collection unfolds with measured clarity—where softness, structure, and memory coexist without excess.

Lazzeroni’s debut collaboration introduces Club, a modular sofa system defined by its continuous, embracing curve. The design moves with quiet fluidity: a gently undulating seat is framed by a backrest and armrests that merge into a single, enveloping gesture. Supported by cylindrical solid wood feet that subtly lift the volume, the piece balances structural clarity with tactile softness. Its modular logic allows for natural expansion and contraction, adapting seamlessly to shifting spatial needs while maintaining a sense of compositional calm.

In contrast, the reissue of the R 513 armchair by Magistretti revisits the 1980s with striking relevance. Crafted in Manau rattan, the design reveals its construction with clarity—vertical elements define the backrest, bending into armrests in a continuous motion that feels both intuitive and deliberate. The interplay of solids and voids creates a rhythmic transparency, allowing the object’s structure to remain legible. Here, form is not imposed but emerges directly from technique, preserving the integrity of the original design intent.

Expanding an already familiar language, Navone continues the evolution of the Loll collection into the dining space. With models 223 to 226, the collection retains its signature softness while exploring new proportions. Fully upholstered silhouettes blur the boundaries between seat, legs, and backrest, resulting in a unified, almost sculptural presence. Subtle variations—from compact, enveloping forms to more generous volumes—extend the collection’s versatility without disrupting its visual continuity.

Rooted in over a century of craftsmanship, Gervasoni’s latest collection reflects a design approach shaped by material sensitivity and enduring comfort. Rather than seeking contrast, it moves through continuity—between past and present, structure and softness, craft and industry—quietly refining the brand’s place in contemporary furniture design.
