Expands its Range of Home Fragrances with New Motifs from the Historical Archive

Within a month we shall reach the glorious festive seasons. So what’s new from Fornasetti?

The tirelessly creative spirit of Fornasetti has led to a flowering of new decorative ideas to enrich the home fragrance line: three new themes from the Atelier’s historical archive embellish candles and room sprays, combined with their designs and fragrances. The fascinating, enigmatic face of Lina Cavalieri, the protagonist of the famous Tema e Variazioni line, and the timeless beauty of the ancient world, which has always been a focus for Fornasetti, are interpreted as amplifying the impressions inspired by the fragrances’ olfactory notes.

The Reperti decoration is available in two different sizes scented candle and a room spray, all products are made of fine hand-decorated porcelain. The antique vases, cameos, and bas-reliefs that cover the surfaces of these creations pay homage to Classicism, one of the historical periods on which Fornasetti has always drawn to reinterpret contemporary language using its legacy and codes. The addition of gold, coupled with red, gives the candles a sophisticated touch, which nicely complements the elegant woody and aromatic notes of the Immaginazione fragrance.

The Bocche collection, meanwhile, owes its hypnotic, seductive power to a single feature of Lina Cavalieri’s face that stands out on the scented candles and room sprays: her lips. A magnetic symbol of vitality and passion, red lips are paired here with the image of the snake, together representing the theme of temptation. The seductive effect is heightened by the associated fragrance, Frutto Proibito, distinguished by its heady citrus and floral notes.

Tra i fiori is an ode to the beauty of nature, personified in this collection by the archetypal perfection of Lina Cavalieri’s face framed by multicoloured flowers. Applied on scented candles in two different sizes and on room sprays, this original decoration evokes the imagery of luxuriant nature, reflected in the complex bouquet of the Giardino Segreto fragrance with its fresh green notes.

The Fornasetti candles, like all the Atelier’s creations, are timeless, intended to live multiple lives, and invite their owners to light them and let their imagination run free: Whether used for illumination, as fragrances, or as containers once the wax is finished, these new creations will infuse any room with sophisticated beauty.
