Driade and the New Design Generation
Driade continues to chart the future of contemporary design, reaffirming itself as a point of reference in innovation and aesthetic research. Always a creative workshop and hothouse of talent, Driade draws on the vision of authors who, like Philippe Starck, have marked the brand’s history, and renews its commitment to design experimentation through new collaborations with some of the most promising emerging designers on the international scene.
The brand unveils exclusive previews of some of the creations to be presented at the forthcoming Milan Design Week 2025, two projects by Färg & Blanche and Marie Cornil & Alexandre Willaume.
A Brand, An Evolving Identity
Driade is synonymous with eclecticism and research, qualities that have defined its path since its foundation. With a vision that challenges conventions and embraces new perspectives, the brand confirms itself as an exceptional stage for emerging design, promoting innovative ideas and languages. This new series of collaborations represents a further step in the direction of design without boundaries, where craftsmanship and experimentation meet to give life to iconic and versatile objects.
F-A-B Chair
The F-A-B Chair, born from the creativity of Färg & Blanche, is distinguished by a unique approach that fuses industry and craftsmanship. An object with great personality, it is conceived as a body to be dressed, thanks to a system of interchangeable covers that allow for a dynamic transformation. The structure, with an essential design reminiscent of traditional shaker chairs, is enriched by customisable ‘dresses’, ranging from sophisticated minimalism to more elaborate solutions. The name itself, F-A-B, pays homage to the designers and recalls the idea of ‘fabulous’, emphasising the chair’s ability to reinvent itself over time. A perfect synthesis of innovation and customisation, in line with the Driade philosophy.

A Coffee Table that Redefines Light and Material
Marie Cornil and Alexandre Willaume explore new expressive possibilities in industrial glass with the Coupelle coffee table, a design that enhances the transparency and lightness of the material. Thanks to thermoforming techniques, the surface acquires a texture inspired by the movement of water, while the minimalist structure emphasises formal purity. The influence of Le Corbusier’s Cité Radieuse is reflected in a language that blends rigour and spontaneity, transforming the coffee table into an object that dialogues with the surrounding space. A piece that fully embodies Driade’s vision, where design is an expression of balance between function and beauty.

A Dialogue between Generations and Visions
The collaborations with Färg & Blanche, Marie Cornil & Alexandre Willaume, and the continuing collaboration with Philippe Starck testify to Driade’s constant commitment to giving voice to talent, enhancing the freshness of ideas, and the courage of innovation.
