Three Enchanting Worlds – Lush Vegetation, Aquatic Depths and Mysterious Constellations

Against the backdrop of Venice (a city synonymous with beauty and imagination), Dior unveiled Diorissima, its latest haute joaillerie collection by Victoire de Castellane. Presented at the historic Palazzo del Casinò, the collection transforms high jewelry into a vivid narrative, celebrating the enduring dialogue between nature, imagination, and exceptional savoir-faire.

Comprising 141 creations, Diorissima unfolds as a journey through three enchanting worlds. Lush botanical landscapes bloom with flowers, fruits, clovers, and cascading wisteria, while aquatic realms shimmer with coral formations, marine life, and luminous shades of blue. Beyond the earth and sea, celestial motifs evoke suns, stars, eclipses, and clouds, reflecting Christian Dior’s lifelong fascination with dreams, symbolism, and the wonders of the natural world.

At the heart of Diorissima lies an extraordinary mastery of color. Rather than focusing solely on rare gemstones, de Castellane orchestrates vibrant compositions of sapphires, emeralds, opals, spinels, garnets, turquoise, and diamonds into miniature works of art. Inspired by the expressive freedom of collage, the jewels reveal unexpected combinations of shapes, hues, and textures that feel both exuberant and sophisticated.

The collection also showcases Dior’s technical virtuosity through innovative gemstone doublets, intricate lacquer work, and highly dimensional constructions that create remarkable depth and movement. Enhancing this magical spectacle, Creative Director Jonathan Anderson presented his first haute couture creations for Dior, designing a series of bustier gowns, draped silhouettes, fluid tailoring, and micro-pleated chiffons enriched with touches of velvet, organza, and pearls. Together, the couture and jewels formed a theatrical dialogue, amplifying the collection’s dreamlike spirit and artistic grandeur.
