As Beautiful As French Movie
Kampanye Dior Fall/Winter 2018-2019 dikemas dalam suasana layaknya sebuah film. Dibawah naungan Artistic Director Maria Grazia Chiuri, kampanye ini mendapatkan inspirasi dari dari French New Wave Cinema a la 60-an khususnya film berjudul Une Femme Est Une Femme oleh Jean-Luc Godard. Kampanye ini pun menonjolkan sisi wanita yang unik dan bebas, menunjukan sisi femininitas yang lain dari biasanya.
Maria Grazia Chiuri: “i have always loved Godard’s movies, his ability to provide a showcase for beautiful female characters: contemporary heroines balanced between tradition and the desire to escape, between aspirations, dreams and reality.”
Di ambil oleh fotografer Pamela Hanson, kampanye ini berhasil mengutarakan konsep intelektual dan independen serta kebebasan dari kaum hawa. Menampilkan dengan baik tujuan dari kampanye ini; femininitas, kebersamaan, sisterhood, dan tentunya girl power. Kampanye Dior Fall/Winter 2018-2019 pun turut menunjukan identitas dari film Prancis dengan teks yang ditempelkan pada foto-fotonya.
