Soft, Understated Lines and A Sense of Lightness
As outdoor spaces increasingly become extensions of the home, Italian brand Désirée presents Karin Outdoor, a refined evolution of its iconic seating collection by Setsu & Shinobu Ito. The new outdoor edition, previewed at Salone del Mobile.Milano 2026, reflects a growing design philosophy in which living unfolds seamlessly between indoors and open air.

Part of Gruppo Euromobil, Désirée approaches outdoor furniture not as a separate category but as a natural continuation of domestic life—spaces shaped for conversation, relaxation, and everyday rituals beneath the sky.
Karin Outdoor retains the collection’s distinctive visual language: soft, understated lines and a sense of lightness that allows material and craftsmanship to take center stage. The structure is crafted from iroko wood—offered in natural or charcoal-stained finishes—paired with a hand-woven polyester webbing backrest that subtly recalls traditional weaving techniques.

Comfort is addressed with generous cushions composed of polyurethane inserts and soft padding in polyurethane chips and polyester fiber, all encased in water-repellent fabric. Fully removable upholstery, finished with precise piping, adds a tailored touch characteristic of the brand’s refined aesthetic.
The collection unfolds as a versatile seating family—armchair, small armchair, and sofa—designed to furnish terraces, gardens, and outdoor lounges with the same compositional harmony typically reserved for interiors.

The mission of Karin Outdoor collection is ready to accompany life effortlessly across every space.
