Where Fairy Tales Meet Everyday Elegance

Haute Couture at Chanel is not just a fairy tale; in essence it is for women, their realities and their adventures of the everyday.” Matthieu Blazy.

With his second Haute Couture collection for Chanel, Matthieu Blazy, the Artistic Director transforms that philosophy into a poetic yet remarkably grounded vision. Fantasy is not an escape from reality but a celebration of it.

Presented by Magran Living

Inspired by a vintage fairy tale book discovered in Gabrielle Chanel’s personal library, Blazy imagines couture as a series of wearable stories rather than theatrical fantasy. Familiar tales such as Jack and the Beanstalk and Goldilocks unfold through exquisitely crafted details—from guipure tweed resembling magic beans and embroidered vines climbing heels to whimsical minaudières shaped like sleeping bears. Hidden silk linings, charms, handwritten notes, and treasured keepsakes stitched within each garment celebrate the intimate relationship between couture and its wearer.

Presented within an enchanted salon overgrown with oversized vines and flowers, the collection never loses sight of reality. Blazy refines Chanel’s iconic tailoring with fluid construction and purposeful ease, creating couture designed to be lived in. Critics have praised the collection for its quiet confidence and exceptional craftsmanship. Everyday elegance take precedence over grand gestures.
