Dialogue Between Material Strength and Fluid Form

As it approaches its fiftieth anniversary, Cantori continues to refine its design language through a balance of craftsmanship and contemporary expression.

On the occasion of Salone del Mobile.Milano 2026, Cantori unveils Ulisse, a console designed by Maurizio Manzoni—part of a broader collection of modular tables that explore balance, movement, and material expression.

Presented by Interni Cipta Selaras

Defined by its sculptural presence, Ulisse is anchored by two solid sheet metal supports, curved into a spiral configuration. This gesture introduces a sense of structural lightness, where the interplay of light and shadow becomes integral to the design. The composition is intersected by an architrave element, which not only supports the marble top but also reinforces a precise equilibrium between dynamic tension and architectural clarity.

The result is a piece that feels both grounded and fluid—where geometry softens into motion, and materiality is elevated through craftsmanship, reflecting Cantori’s evolving design language rooted in artisanal expertise and reinterpreted through more contemporary, expressive forms.

Ulisse becomes a continuation of Cantori’s evolving narrative—where heritage is not preserved, but reinterpreted through new formal expressions.
