MoscaPartners Variations at Palazzo Litta – MDW 2026

Bar Adrenalina, a vibrant installation by Debonademeo Studio — founded by Luca De Bona and Dario De Meo — transformed the Boccascena Caffè within Palazzo Litta’s Cortile dell’Orologio into a living environment shaped by sound, interaction, and experimentation. Presented during the 2026 edition of MoscaPartners Variations (Milan Design Week 2026), and aligned with the curatorial theme of “Metamorphosis,” the project reimagined the existing bar through an immersive installation and sound design experience.

The installation project unfolded through three atmospherically distinct rooms (red for sociability, blue for contemplation, and green for listening) dedicated to sociability, relaxation, and listening. Here, visitors unknowingly became part of the installation itself as microphones captured conversations and ambient frequencies, later translated into both a musical work and the design language of a future Adrenalina sofa.

Through Michele Spanghero’s sculptural sound pieces and immersive audio interventions, Bar Adrenalina blurred the boundaries between exhibition, performance, and hospitality. Extending beyond Design Week until July 30, 2026, Bar Adrenalina stood as both a contemporary tribute to Milanese social culture and a compelling reflection on design as relationship, participation, and collective energy.

The immersive setting also showcased Adrenalina’s latest collections alongside its historic pieces, including Gae Avitabile’s sculptural Drop, Kosmoform’s spherical-inspired Kobe, and Debonademeo Studio’s Pachamama, whose soft archetypal forms reference ancient votive figures and maternal embrace. The atmosphere was further enriched through collaborations with Karman for lighting, Chroma for tables and upholstery, and Gabriel for textiles.
