Refinement Through Material Quality, Precise Form, and A Calm, Understated Confidence
antoniolupi’s Rigatino washbasin is a sculptural presence that transforms the bathroom into a space to be experienced rather than simply used. It redefines contemporary luxury by moving away from excess and ornament, expressing refinement through material quality, precise form, and a calm, understated confidence. Without demanding attention, Rigatino naturally becomes the focal point of the room.

Designed by AL Studio, Rigatino is conceived as an architectural element. Its form is defined by a pure cylindrical volume that rises from the floor with the quiet strength of a tree trunk. Clean and essential, the silhouette feels solid yet slender, balancing geometric rigor with an organic sensibility.

Its identity is revealed through its surface. Fine vertical grooves run along the column, turning a technical process into decoration. The resulting play of light and shadow gives the washbasin a subtle three-dimensional texture that feels dynamic yet restrained.

Rigatino’s versatility lies in its material combinations. The column can be crafted in wood, marble, or stone, each material shifting the emotional tone of the piece. Wood brings warmth and tactility, while marble and stone emphasize sculptural presence, durability, and timeless elegance.

The basin itself is available in marble, stone, Flumood, or Colormood, antoniolupi’s matte-finish materials that enhance the purity of the form and sharpen its contemporary character.

Designed to work as part of a larger composition, Rigatino can be paired with the Simplotondo basin with integrated countertop or combined with antoniolupi’s Cartesio shelving system, creating a cohesive bathroom setting defined by balance, clarity, and refined proportions.
