Architecture, Material and Water
The contemporary bathroom has evolved beyond its functional role to become a space where architecture, material and everyday rituals come together. Reflecting this evolution, antoniolupi presents DOMUS at Salone del Mobile.Milano 2026, unveiling a series of new projects through an exhibition concept inspired by the timeless spatial language of the Roman domus. Rather than a conventional exhibition stand, DOMUS becomes an architectural environment designed to be experienced.

Inspired by the layout of the Roman house, the exhibition unfolds through five interconnected rooms arranged around a central atrium. Each room offers a distinct interpretation of the contemporary bathroom and its relationship with water, gradually revealing it as a place for everyday living and wellbeing. Evo oak and Botticino marble establish a warm, restrained palette, while handcrafted engravings and tactile finishes add depth and character, balancing timeless craftsmanship with contemporary expression. The journey culminates in an intimate spa setting, where newly developed showerheads transform the shower into a more immersive sensory experience.

“Essentiality and coherence. Evo oak is a new natural and tactile finish; paired with Botticino, it will define a warm and uniform chromatic landscape in which the products will emerge without competing with the context,” says Andrea Lupi.

Across the exhibition, antoniolupi presents a collection of new designs that blur the line between sculpture and function. Paolo Ulian’s Carsico marble basin appears to have been shaped by the action of water, while Michele Vitaloni’s Nazionale tapware combines clean lines with rigorous geometries. Brian Sironi’s Lilium basin takes inspiration from the elegant form of a blooming flower, while Carlo Colombo’s Slide bathtub, carved from a single block of marble, becomes a sculptural focal point. The collection is further complemented by Antonio Iraci’s Skyline marble basin and Nevio Tellatin’s Batua hair-on-hide rug collection, extending the brand’s design language beyond the bathroom.

Innovation continues with the evolution of Giorgio Rava’s Lineadacqua collection, now featuring Sensor technology that activates water flow simply by bringing a hand near the spout. Combining technological research with intuitive usability and a considered approach to water consumption, the system redefines the relationship between body, object and water. The exhibition also introduces a porcelain stoneware capsule collection by Carlo Colombo, Gumdesign, Giorgio Rava and Mario Trimarchi, reflecting antoniolupi’s continued exploration of material innovation.

More than introducing new products, DOMUS reflects antoniolupi’s vision for the contemporary bathroom, bringing architecture, material and water together in an immersive architectural experience.
