The Event at Warehouse 30 Marks a Milestone in Lamont’s Craft and Design Journey
Bangkok’s Warehouse 30 set the stage for Alexander Lamont’s 25th anniversary celebration, where the designer unveiled his new XXV Collection before an audience of more than 100 international guests. Designers, curators, and long-standing clients gathered for an evening of live jazz, conversation, and a first look at the brand’s latest work.

The XXV Collection (read here) reflects Lamont’s ongoing pursuit of rare materials and meticulous craftsmanship. Drawing inspiration from Ancient Britain, the pieces—ranging from lounge chairs and tables to sconces—juxtapose the primordial with the playful. Parchment, shagreen, and richly pigmented straw were transformed by Lamont’s team of 160 artisans into sculptural works that sit at the intersection of art and furniture.

The soirée drew guests from across Asia (Thailand, Japan, Philippines, Hong Kong) and the United States, underscoring Bangkok’s emergence as an international design hub. Attendees praised the intricate detailing and tactile qualities of the collection, hallmarks of Lamont’s distinctive style.

Reflecting on the evening, Lamont noted, “To unveil the XXV Collection here in Bangkok where this began, surrounded by clients, friends, and fellow creatives, felt like a true reflection of what our craft is about—connection, beauty, and the pursuit of ideas that endure.”

Now on view at the Alexander Lamont Gallery in Warehouse 30, with select pieces available internationally, the XXV Collection marks both a milestone in craftsmanship and the beginning of a new chapter for the brand.
