DIEFFEBI SHAPES A MORE HUMAN WORKPLACE FOR PREVIP IN MILAN

There is a certain ease to the new Previp offices in Milan’s CityLife district. Rather than relying on rigid partitions or a conventional corporate aesthetic, the 400-square-metre workplace takes a more fluid approach, letting furniture, color, and material shape the atmosphere throughout the day.

Designed by l.a.barassi architettura and completed in 2025, the project brings together Dieffebi’s furniture and storage systems in an environment where functionality and comfort naturally sit alongside one another. The result is contemporary but never overly formal, with the different spaces responding to the everyday rhythm of working, meeting, moving, and taking a pause.
Much of this feeling comes from the way metal is used throughout the interior. Usually associated with technical or institutional settings, it takes on a softer character through color, finish, texture, and a thoughtful mix of materials. In the open-plan areas and hallways, Primo Acoustic Sliding cabinets appear in a delicate powder blue, with perforated, sound-absorbing doors that help keep reverberation and noise under control.

Primo Cabinet storage units continue the palette in painted metal, picking up the brick-red walls and carpet and making storage feel like part of the interior rather than something that needs to disappear. Inside the offices, Primo Tex brings another variation, combining a recyclable sheet-metal frame with MDF hinged doors. Its matte, subtly textured finish gives the cabinetry a warmer presence while keeping the overall look clean.
The same idea carries through to the workstations. T-Share desks combine a central folded-sheet-metal blade for cable management with trestle frames in a bold red finish, alongside Universal Quick 320 drawer units and Cuvée chairs. The arrangement gives each area enough flexibility to accommodate different ways of working while keeping the office visually connected.

In the boardroom, the Echo Locker system becomes almost architectural. Anthracite doors and warm rust-colored frames cover the walls, turning what might normally be a purely practical storage element into part of the room itself. Around the meeting table, Cuvée armchairs add a softer touch with their enveloping lines and two-tone combination of shell and upholstered sections.
The more informal areas feel equally considered. In passageways and communal spaces, Zoey Stools bring a playful note with their three cylindrical legs and ochre and powder blue upholstery, creating small opportunities for spontaneous interaction and micro co-working. Nearby, Cuvée chairs and Agreste side tables give the break areas a more relaxed character through a mix of shapes, sizes, and colors.

It is these quieter details that give the office its human quality. Rather than treating the workplace as a series of workstations, the project creates a sequence of places for focusing, gathering, moving through, or simply stepping away from the desk.
Throughout the space, Dieffebi’s systems do more than provide storage, seating, or structure. They bring color, texture, acoustic consideration, and a sense of continuity into the interior, while allowing metal to retain its durability without feeling overly technical. Primo, T-Share, Echo Locker, Cuvée, and the other pieces work together as a cohesive language, defining different areas without making the workplace feel divided.

By allowing furniture to organize the space while giving it warmth and identity, Dieffebi creates an office that feels adaptable, welcoming, and genuinely connected to the people who use it.
