Made to Move, Made for More
Who says sportswear is only for sports? Buttonscarves brought that question to the runway at the 20th Fashion Nation, offering a first look at B/ACTIVE, its most complete activewear collection this year. Bringing together performance, comfort, and the brand’s signature fashion sensibility, the collection marks a new move for Buttonscarves into sportswear.
Presented on 26 September 2026 at the Main Atrium of Senayan City, the showcase arrived during a milestone moment, as Fashion Nation celebrated two decades alongside Senayan City’s 20th anniversary. Under the theme “The Icon Edit”, the occasion set the stage for Buttonscarves to introduce a new direction while celebrating a shared history of fashion, style, and cultural influence.

That new direction comes through B/ACTIVE, which marks the beginning of a new category journey for the brand. Instead of approaching activewear around a single workout or sporting discipline, the collection takes a broader view of sportswear, with pieces designed to move across different activities while staying grounded in comfort and function.

Contemporary silhouettes and the recognizable design character of Buttonscarves bring another layer to the collection, giving its sportswear pieces a distinct visual identity beyond performance alone. It is an approach that reflects how activewear itself has evolved, becoming increasingly woven into everyday dressing as the lines between fitness, leisure, and daily routines continue to blur.
For Buttonscarves, that shift also feels closely connected to its community. Through BSLady, the brand has grown beyond a shared interest in fashion, bringing members together through social gatherings, sports, and other lifestyle activities. B/ACTIVE builds on that connection, translating the community’s increasingly active lifestyle into a new category for the brand.

“Activewear today needs to respond to more than one type of movement. People may have different sports, routines, and levels of activity, but they still want clothing that feels comfortable, functional, and true to their personal style,” said Mifthahul Jannah, Creative Director of Buttonscarves.
“B/ACTIVE reflects where Buttonscarves is heading as we continue to explore categories that respond to more aspects of our customers’ lives. What we presented at Fashion Nation is only the first look at this new direction. We are still keeping much of the collection under wraps, with more pieces, ideas, and surprises to be revealed as we move closer to its official launch,” adds Mifthahul Jannah.

So, while the Fashion Nation runway offered an initial glimpse, there is still more to come. Further product reveals, campaign stories, and launch activities will unfold as B/ACTIVE moves closer to its official release.

The move feels like a natural next chapter for a brand that has continued to expand beyond its beginnings. What started in a small living room—serving as a creative studio, sewing corner, and packaging space—has grown into Buttonscarves, a Southeast Asia-born fashion brand with a growing global presence. Today, the brand has nearly 60 stores across Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, and Turkey, alongside an expanding retail and digital ecosystem and a community that has grown with it.

Now, as Buttonscarves steps into sportswear, B/ACTIVE offers a glimpse of where that evolution could lead next. For now, the brand is keeping the rest under wraps, leaving more pieces, stories, and surprises to unfold closer to its official launch.
