There is a certain beauty in a chair that does not need to be complicated to make an impression. With TÊT, Et al. and designer Marco Acerbis explore how simplicity, proportion, and functionality can come together in a distinctive seat for contemporary hospitality spaces.

Two curved plywood shells give TÊT its distinctive silhouette, shaping both the seat and backrest. Wide and slightly enveloping, the backrest becomes the chair’s defining visual element, giving it a sculptural yet inviting character. The curved seat follows the same language, creating a sense of continuity while keeping the overall form clean and restrained.

TÊT is available in an entirely wooden version or with an upholstered seat cushion. The latter introduces a softer tactile element while remaining deliberately separate from the backrest. This contrast adds warmth to the design and allows the chair to adapt naturally to different interior settings.

The shells rest on a lightweight four-leg metal frame that keeps the overall look light and understated. Beyond aesthetics, TÊT also responds to the practical rhythm of hospitality spaces. Its stackable construction makes storage, handling, and space management easier, turning an everyday requirement into an integral part of the design.

This balance between character and practicality reflects the broader approach of Et al., the Italian furniture brand specialising in seating and tables for collective and hospitality spaces. TÊT also marks an interesting point in Et al.’s evolution, following Marco Acerbis’ appointment as the brand’s new Art Director in 2026. His direction brings a renewed focus on product identity, technical thinking, and functional innovation, reflected in TÊT’s understated yet distinctive design, where curves, materials, and proportions come together in a light, adaptable chair made for everyday use.
