An Immersive Dialogue Between Design and Nature

With a design language rooted in comfort, emotionality, and fluid living, Saba presents Botanical Frequencies at Fuorisalone 2026—an immersive installation exploring the poetic relationship between design and nature. Translating botanical inspirations into forms, materials, and layered visual compositions, the experience unfolds as a contemplative landscape where furniture, art, and natural elements exist in quiet harmony.

At the heart of the installation is Oasi, a new modular outdoor seating system designed by Robin Rizzini. Conceived as a landscape of wellbeing and inner calm, Oasi reimagines outdoor living through organic forms and flexible modularity, adapting seamlessly to different settings while maintaining a sculptural presence. Crafted with sustainability in mind, the system features fully removable covers, technical fabrics, cork side tables, and integrated plant holders that reinforce the connection between furniture and botanical life. Textile details—including a quilted throw that can also function as a cylindrical lumbar cushion—further emphasize comfort and versatility.

Expanding the immersive setting, Saba also introduces sculptural pieces from the Teatro Magico collection by 967arch, now enriched with new finishes and outdoor variations. A table presented in the warm Havana shade lends depth to the environment, while ceramic-glazed stoneware side tables reinterpret tones drawn from the sky, vegetation, flowers, and earth into tactile objects shaped by materiality and light.

The installation is further enriched through the contribution of Brazilian artist Júlia Martins Miranda, who presents three previously unseen paintings inspired by botanical forms and the chromatic language of Saba’s latest collections. Drawing from poetry, music, and memories of her homeland, Miranda transforms intimate observations of vegetation into emotionally layered compositions, deepening the dialogue between art and design.

Elsewhere within the installation, the Anam modular bookcase by Federico Peri becomes the centerpiece of a botanical wunderkammer—a curated composition of artworks, sculptures, and natural elements that invites contemplation and discovery. Nearby, Saba’s new Voilà armchairs by Nicola Pavan frame an intimate setting for the premiere of the brand’s latest emotional campaign, photographed by Piergiorgio Sorgetti in the evocative botanical garden of La Cutura.

Curated by Alessandra Santi, Botanical Frequencies unfolds as more than a furniture presentation. Through a layered composition of products, artistic interventions, and natural references, Saba proposes a slower, more sensory way of inhabiting space—one where design quietly reconnects everyday living with the rhythms of nature.
