Equestrian Elegance
Some symbols never fade—they simply find new ways to be expressed. For Hermès, the horse has long embodied the Maison’s spirit, shaping its creative language through elegance, precision and exceptional craftsmanship. In Into The Horsescape, Creative Director Pierre Hardy reimagines that enduring legacy, transforming familiar equestrian codes into contemporary jewellery creations.

Rather than portraying the horse itself, Hardy turns to the objects that define its world. Horse bits, stirrups, lassos and blacksmith’s nails become sculptural forms that evoke presence rather than representation. Their significance lies not in what they depict, but in what they suggest—strength, grace and quiet dynamism distilled into refined jewellery.

Across 90 one-of-a-kind creations, Into The Horsescape explores Hermès’ vision of Haute Bijouterie, elevating familiar utilitarian forms into refined expressions of artistry. Fluid necklaces, articulated bracelets, sculptural rings and striking body jewellery embrace the body’s natural contours with remarkable ease, while hidden mechanisms and meticulous engineering allow each piece to move almost imperceptibly with its wearer. The technical complexity remains invisible, leaving only an impression of effortless elegance.

Exceptional gemstones enrich the narrative with colour and texture. Vivid emeralds emerge from elongated horse bits, baguette-cut diamonds echo the looping lines of lassos, while pavé-set diamonds illuminate the architectural forms of stirrups and blacksmith’s nails. Deep black jade and Tahitian stone recall the richness of horses’ hooves, balanced by warm rose gold and brown diamonds that mirror the subtle tones of a horse’s coat. Each material is selected not only for its rarity, but also for the mood it evokes.

Throughout the collection, Hermès demonstrates a restrained approach to luxury. Ornament never overwhelms form, and technical innovation quietly disappears behind graceful silhouettes. The result is jewellery that feels surprisingly light, intimate and effortless—pieces designed to become part of the wearer rather than simply adorn them.

Set against sweeping desert landscapes, the accompanying campaign echoes the collection’s sculptural character while capturing the freedom, serenity and enduring elegance that define Hermès’ equestrian heritage. More than a showcase of exceptional gemstones, Into The Horsescape reimagines these enduring codes through a contemporary lens, revealing how true elegance is expressed through subtlety, artistry and exceptional craftsmanship.
