Unveiling Three New Additions to the Iconic Series

Ten years after its debut, VUELTA remains one of Wittmann’s most celebrated contemporary designs. Created by Spanish designer Jaime Hayon in 2016, the sculptural armchair quickly became a defining piece within the Austrian furniture maker’s portfolio, embodying the brand’s commitment to expressive forms, harmonious proportions, and exceptional comfort.

To mark the milestone, Wittmann unveils the VUELTA Anniversary Collection, a special edition that revisits the iconic design while introducing subtle refinements that reinforce its enduring appeal. Expanding the collection with three new additions, the anniversary edition highlights Hayon’s ability to blend artistic expression with everyday functionality.

The most distinctive update comes in the form of a precisely tailored piping detail that traces the contours of each piece, emphasizing VUELTA’s signature flowing silhouette. The enhancement feels both contemporary and intrinsic to the design, further accentuating the enveloping curves that have made the collection a modern classic. Complementing the update is Chai, a new frame finish that introduces a warmer, more sensual character while broadening the collection’s design versatility.

The anniversary launch is further distinguished by an exclusive fabric inspired by the Japanese concept Ichi-go Ichi-e or “this moment, only once”—transforming VUELTA into a collectible statement piece that celebrates the uniqueness of the occasion.
