Cosmogramma – A Poetic Dialogue Between Heritage and Contemporary Design

At Milan Design Week 2026, Ceccotti Collezioni introduces Cosmogramma, a new collection conceived as a symbolic map of the brand’s creative universe — where historical memory, artisanal mastery, and contemporary experimentation converge through furniture objects imbued with soul and narrative.

Presented across the brand’s flagship space on Via Durini and its shop-in-shop at the Poltrona Frau store on Via Manzoni, the collection brings together reissued masterpieces and new creations in an immersive staging defined by refined palettes, tactile finishes, and sculptural forms.

Presented by Interni Cipta Selaras

Conceived as a “geography of thought,” Cosmogramma connects archival works by design masters Mario Gottardi and Guglielmo Ulrich with contemporary visions by Jean-Marie Massaud, david/nicolas, Roberto Lazzeroni, DRAW Studio, and Giuseppe Casarosa.

Baldwin by Jean-Marie Massaud

At the heart of the collection is the dialogue between craftsmanship and innovation. Historic techniques such as shellacking and enameling are revisited alongside precision engineering in Ulrich’s Captain Hook clock, while Mario Gottardi’s iconic 604 Desk from the 1950s returns in a contemporary reinterpretation overseen by archive director Andrea Mazzoni. Together, these pieces reinforce Ceccotti’s ongoing Masters Tribute project — preserving design heritage while allowing it to evolve through modern sensibilities.

Scapula by david/nicolas

New creations within the collection further expand the brand’s sculptural language. Jean-Marie Massaud’s Baldwin tables and david/nicolas’ Scapula chair introduce bold cuneiform geometries and architectural silhouettes, contrasting Ceccotti’s traditionally soft organic lines. Roberto Lazzeroni’s Gaspard table and Skilful credenza emphasize formal clarity and material precision, while DRAW Studio’s Eugène armchair explores symmetry and graphic proportion.

Celebrating its tenth anniversary, Giuseppe Casarosa’s Vossia office chair also returns in a new President edition designed to complement the reissued Gottardi desk.

With Cosmogramma, Ceccotti Collezioni further articulates its dedication to enduring craftsmanship and the evolving expressions of contemporary design culture.
