A Study of Balance, Form, and Material Precision

French designer Franck Genser is known for his sculptural approach, where architectural structure meets refined material expression.

BRUTALIST TABLE

Set to be presented during Milan Design Week 2026, Genser’s latest works will be unveiled as part of Le Design Défilé in Brera—a curated showcase led by Le FRENCH DESIGN in collaboration with l’Ameublement français, bringing together a diverse selection of contemporary French creations.

CASCADE FINIE 135

Within this setting, he introduces three signature pieces—the Cascade Fini 135 Lamp, Brutalist Table, and Scarf Armchair—forming a quiet exploration of balance between light, structure, and fluid form.

Presented by Interni Cipta Selaras

Rather than existing as standalone objects, the works unfold in dialogue. The vertical rhythm of light, the grounded solidity of the table, and the soft, enveloping presence of the armchair come together with a sense of restraint—allowing material, proportion, and space to define the experience.

SCARF ARMCHAIR

It is this measured approach that shapes Genser’s language: tactile, precise, and inherently architectural. Presented alongside a curated selection of 53 French designs, the installation situates his work within a broader contemporary narrative—one that values craftsmanship, material sensitivity, and a more considered way of shaping space.
