A new Special Edition wallcovering collection

Italian wallcovering brand Glamora, known for its expressive and material-driven approach to surface design, introduces Vespera Collection, a new Special Edition set to preview during Milano Design Week 2026. The collection interprets decoration as a perceptual experience—one shaped by material, light, and the quiet rhythms of everyday life.

Sillage

Conceived as a reflection on contemporary living, Vespera embraces a more pared-back approach to decoration, where surfaces invite slower observation and a renewed awareness of space. Its inspiration draws from intimate domestic imagery—everyday gestures, filtered light, and memories that surface softly rather than appearing in sharp focus. In this subtle balance between decoration and architecture, the wall becomes an atmospheric element rather than a purely visual statement.

Patterns emerge delicately in layered compositions, recalling faded images in memory. Motifs suggest traces of tea set decorations, shadows of vegetation cast over sun-dried linens, and fragments of household textiles that carry quiet family narratives. The figurative dimension remains understated, expressed through restrained marks that leave room for the tactile language of the material.

Presented by Interni Cipta Selaras

At the heart of the collection is GlamPlissé, a three-dimensional textile wallcovering crafted in pure linen with continuous vertical pleating. Rather than an applied effect, the three-dimensionality is intrinsic to the surface itself, introducing an irregular vertical rhythm that subtly reshapes the perception of the wall. Its semi-matte luminous finish creates a refined interplay of revealing and concealing, adding depth while preserving visual continuity.

Afterlight

Under filtered or grazing light, the linen surface reveals delicate vibrations and textural nuance—an effect reminiscent of the sensibility described by Jun’ichirō Tanizaki in In Praise of Shadows, where perception becomes more refined in half-light and subtle details gradually emerge.

The colour palette follows the same philosophy of quiet refinement. Dusty, muted tones establish a perceptual foundation where depth arises through the interaction of light and texture rather than contrast, creating an atmosphere of serene and understated luxury.

Designed for private residences as well as intimate hospitality settings—boutique hotels, suites, and lounges—Vespera integrates naturally into interiors defined by restraint, where spatial quality is entrusted to material authenticity and luminous subtlety.

The Special Edition continues Glamora’s exploration of material-driven surfaces, where natural materials and digital decoration shape walls with a quiet yet enduring identity.
