Collection Particuliere will unveil  GIL Armchair by Christophe Delcourt in the exhibition L’objet de mon affection at Fondazione Mudima, Milano (April 20–25, Via Tadino 26).

A tribute to French decorative arts, the GIL armchair celebrates both fine cabinetmaking and upholstery work, expressing a quest for simplicity that allows the craftsmanship to speak for itself.

Presented by Magran Living

A sculptural frame in brown limed solid oak forms a continuous architectural outline, its curved armrests embracing the seat and backrest. The matte timber contrasts with the plush depth of “Kiana” mohair velvet by Delcourt Textiles, distinguished by subtle golden highlights.

Compact in scale (59.5 x 63 x H 72.5 cm) yet assured in presence, the GIL armchair expresses its character through restraint—eschewing ornament in favor of clarity, craftsmanship and tactile nuance.
