Before Milan Design Week unfolds, this is an early glimpse into the projects shaping the season—where design, atmosphere, and everyday rituals intersect.

A home, in Gufram’s world, has never been neutral. It is a place where comfort meets provocation, and where objects question the habits they are meant to serve. With Radical Home, Gufram brings this attitude into the domestic realm, framing the house as a space for experimentation, irony, and radical imagination.

Presented at the 64th edition of Salone del Mobile.Milano, the installation is shared with Memphis and Meritalia, forming a collective landscape rooted in the legacy of Italian Radical Design. Rather than a conventional showcase, Radical Home reads as a lived-in manifesto—where furniture becomes both object and attitude.

At the center of the presentation is Fachiro, the spiked beanbag chair designed by Marzio Cecchi.
Uncomfortable by design yet playful in spirit, the piece captures Gufram’s enduring commitment to experimentation and dissident surrealism—inviting interaction while quietly resisting it.

Surrounding this new work are some of the brand’s most iconic projects, including PRATONE® Infinito and ANDY’S CACTUS®, created in collaboration with the Andy Warhol Foundation. The scene is further enriched by the Dog and Baby seats from the Luna Luna project, developed with the Keith Haring Foundation—objects that blur the line between furniture, sculpture, and cultural symbol.

Together, these pieces shape a domestic landscape that feels intentionally offbeat. Here, the home is not a place of restraint, but one of expression—where radical ideas take physical form and everyday life is infused with humor, critique, and imagination.
