Contemporary Design Objects Shaped for Open-air Living

Outdoor spaces today are no longer seasonal or secondary. They have become lived-in extensions of the home—places where mornings unfold slowly, conversations linger, and everyday rituals are shaped by light and air. As the boundary between inside and outside softens, design follows with a quieter, more thoughtful response.

Euvira by Jader Almeida

For Spring 2026, ClassiCon introduces its Outdoor Collection, bringing a curated selection of contemporary furniture into open-air settings. Rather than altering form, the brand refines what already exists—reinterpreting proven designs through durable materials and outdoor-ready finishes that allow each piece to settle naturally into gardens, terraces, and patios. The result is not a statement, but a presence: calm, composed, and meant to be lived with.

Presented by Interni Cipta Selaras

At the heart of the collection are seating designs from Volkshaus by Herzog & de Meuron and Euvira by Jader Almeida. Their lounge and rocking chairs introduce a slower rhythm to outdoor living, offering moments of pause rather than performance. Crafted from untreated robinia wood—a resilient European hardwood processed locally—the Euvira pieces combine structural strength with visual lightness. Cord-strung surfaces add warmth and tactility, casting subtle graphic shadows as sunlight moves throughout the day.

Pallas Table

This sense of clarity continues through the tables by Konstantin Grcic. The Diana side tables, formed from folded sheet steel, remain intentionally open in use—equally at home as functional surfaces or sculptural accents. Finished with a weatherproof, UV-resistant powder coating, they retain their expressive colour palette outdoors. The Pallas Table, available in generous lengths of 240 cm and 300 cm, extends this architectural language into communal settings, anchoring gatherings with quiet confidence.

Bell Side Table by Sebastian Herkner

Completing the collection are pieces defined by material honesty. Sebastian Herkner’s Bell Side Table, now available in a matt marble version for outdoor use, is sculptural yet grounded, each piece distinguished by the natural veining of the stone. The Corker by Herzog & de Meuron offers a more adaptable presence—used as a stool or side table, indoors or outdoors. Made from cork sourced from responsibly managed forests in Portugal and produced without adhesives, it is naturally suited to life outside. Alongside cork versions No. 1, 2, and 3, the Corker No. 1 Marble in a matt finish adds a quiet contrast of texture and weight.

Rather than chasing seasonal trends, the ClassiCon Outdoor Collection embraces longevity. These are objects designed to age, to weather change, and to accompany everyday moments—shaping outdoor spaces with restraint, warmth, and a sense of ease that feels deeply human.
