The Sink That Gives Shape to Balance
Balance does not impose itself—it reveals itself quietly, in the meeting point between solidity and fluidity, precision and softness. With Scarabeo YUGO, previewed at Salone del Mobile 2026, Scarabeo Ceramiche reimagines the washbasin as a sculptural expression of harmony within the contemporary bathroom.

Presented by Coulisse | INK
Designed by Studio Adolini, YUGO explores the dialogue between two primary geometries: the square and the circle. Stability meets openness in a seamless transition, where linear edges gradually soften into fluid curvature. The silhouette feels essential yet expressive—structured, yet never rigid—echoing a balance between Italian design precision and subtle Eastern philosophical influences.

Function and form evolve together. The square base ensures stability and ease of installation, while the circular basin optimizes volume and usability. Internal curves guide water flow naturally, calibrated depth minimizes splashes, and thin continuous edges enhance comfort while simplifying maintenance. Every detail refines the everyday ritual into a moment of quiet well-being.

Crafted in ceramic—natural, durable, and fully recyclable—YUGO reflects Scarabeo’s responsible production approach, combining efficient firing technologies with low-impact systems. Sustainability here extends beyond process, embracing longevity and a more conscious way of living.
