The First Glimpse of Porada’s 2026 Collection
At Paris Design Week, Porada unveils more than a renewed showroom. The Italian brand presents the new Cuna Lounge, offering a quiet yet confident first look at its 2026 collection—an evolution designed for moments of pause, conversation, and ease.

As the latest interpretation of the Cuna family, Cuna Lounge builds on the executive armchair introduced in 2025. Drawing from the refined spirit of 1950s design, French designer Emmanuel Gallina reimagines the silhouette with softer proportions and a more relaxed presence, while maintaining the elegance that defines the collection.

The armchair’s identity lies in its sculptural shell, crafted from solid Canaletta walnut. Shaped as a continuous, flowing line, the shell extends naturally into the armrests and gently embraces the backrest cushion. This seamless gesture creates a sense of visual calm and balance—where material, form, and craftsmanship come together effortlessly.

“The shell of Cuna Lounge gives the piece its true identity and it is sculpted to create harmonious and fluid lines between the backrest and armrests,” says Emmanuel Gallina. “An armchair that lends itself to versatility.”

Designed to move fluidly between private lounges, hospitality settings, and thoughtfully curated offices, Cuna Lounge adapts to both classic and contemporary interiors. Compared to the executive version, the lounge interpretation features more generous proportions and a deeper seat, enhanced by soft, ergonomic cushions that follow the silhouette of the enveloping shell.

With the new Cuna Lounge, Porada once again highlights its ability to unite natural materials, artisanal craftsmanship, and a timeless design sensibility—creating an armchair that feels quietly relevant today and enduring for years to come.
