A Cinematic Reflection at JFW 2026

The collaboration between InterContinental Jakarta Pondok Indah and the Indonesian Fashion Designer Council (IPMI) unveils “The Love Letter,” interpreted through renowned designer Didi Budiardjo and young designer Rama Dauhan.

At Jakarta Fashion Week 2026, Didi Budiardjo presented “If Only,” a collection shaped by the romantic nostalgia of 1930s cinema and enriched by architectural references to Frank Lloyd Wright. Drawing from the era’s transition from silent to sound film—and Wright’s structured design philosophy- Didi B crafted couture pieces that explore memory, transformation, and the emotional resonance of form.

Soft pastels, architectural silhouettes, delicate tulle, and intricate floral embellishments define the collection’s visual language. Inspired by early film aesthetics, Art Deco sensibilities, and symbolic botanicals, each look reveals the designer’s enduring devotion to craft and storytelling.

Following its debut at JFW26, Didi B presented “If Only: A Re-see” at The Langham Jakarta, transforming the collection into an intimate installation. Visitors were invited to experience the garments up close—touching fabrics, observing details, and stepping into the emotional world behind the designs.
