Draga & Aurel’s Rescue Me series elevates recycling into an art form through a “circular creation” process, where discarded furniture fragments gain new meaning by bridging memory and modernity. This project, set to debut at Milan Design Week’s Rossana Orlandi Gallery, extends their Heritage collection, which has reimagined vintage furniture since 2003 using resin, their signature medium.

Each piece undergoes a meticulous metamorphosis. The resin’s vibrant colors enhance depth, turning surfaces into tactile paintings. Fluorescent accents add rhythm, pushing the vintage items beyond their original era. Transparent Lucite frames further enhance visual lightness.

More than upcycling, Rescue Me is a statement on preservation and transformation. “We’re not just saving material but also its significance. Rescue Me is an act of listening and transformation.” Draga & Aurel.
