First introduced in 2017 (read here), the collection has steadily evolved into a best-seller within B&B Italia’s Outdoor line, and now it grows further with new seating options, tables, coffee tables, finishes, and configurations—all while maintaining its signature elegance and distinctive character.

The 2025 update transforms the Erica collection into a fully integrated system, embodying B&B Italia’s hallmark approach to design. The concept of a “system,” long a cornerstone of the company’s philosophy, is beautifully adapted for outdoor spaces, offering the same level of completeness and sophistication typically reserved for interior settings. The collection meets the unique challenges of outdoor living with precision, providing solutions that merge seamlessly with nature.

Erica‘s latest evolution broadens its appeal, offering an expansive range of furniture suitable for a variety of outdoor settings, from dining areas to poolside lounges, gardens, and urban terraces. Each new element is crafted to harmonize with diverse environments, ensuring that every outdoor space feels inviting and unique. Innovative Features & Timeless Design
The extended Erica collection introduces a host of new features while preserving the core elements that have made it so successful: powder-coated die-cast aluminum frames for durability and lightness, polypropylene fiber interlacing with a high-tensile internal core for exceptional outdoor performance, and the distinctive foot design that runs across all pieces, providing a sense of cohesion and visual harmony throughout.

One of the standout additions is the new curved sofa. A functional extension of the original collection, the curved sofa is designed to foster dynamic and social outdoor relaxation, creating the perfect setting for shared moments.

Another exciting new addition is the modular seating system, which combines elegance and flexibility. This sophisticated design allows for a wide range of configurations, enabling users to tailor their outdoor seating arrangements to their specific needs and spaces.

For moments of ultimate relaxation, the collection now features a dormeuse, a high-backed armchair with an integrated headrest cushion, and a daybed, also with a high back and built-in headrest. Both pieces provide the perfect environment for lounging in comfort.

Completing the outdoor relaxation experience are the new sun loungers. Designed for practicality and comfort, these loungers feature reinforced polypropylene fiber interlacing and a high-tensile core, ensuring durability in outdoor conditions. They come with a padded mattress for added comfort and a stackable design for easy storage.

New Tables and Color Options
The collection also introduces a range of new dining and coffee tables. The dining tables come with rectangular tops in two sizes and a round version, while the coffee tables are available with round tops in three sizes. The tops are available in natural teak wood or fused glass, a process that creates unique textures and irregularities for a tactile, one-of-a-kind finish. Some tables are back-painted in rich jade green, emerald green, or coral red, which can be paired with a variety of frame colors.

Erica’s frame color palette now includes new sophisticated shades: cream white, aquamarine green, and olive bronze, alongside the already established anthracite and dove grey. These refined tones complement the new table tops and seat weavings, which come in beige, hay green, anthracite, and dove grey.

To further elevate the outdoor experience, the collection also features new fabrics in a variety of striped and solid patterns, all engineered for outdoor use to ensure long-lasting durability and comfort.
