Evoke Infinity
We are pleased to announce that the IN-2000-E/Infinity Bio, designed by Hideo Shimizu, has been awarded one of the Archiproducts Design Awards 2024. Now in its ninth edition, the award celebrates excellence in design worldwide, identifying products that best embody contemporary design culture through the continuous research of Archiproducts, a leading reference for design professionals. The international jury reviewed functional and innovative furniture, lighting, finishes, building systems, and the latest technological home solutions from 50 countries, seeking pieces that, through new materials, shapes, or functions, are poised to revolutionize and enhance the quality of life both today and in the future.

Presented by Galleria
The jury included some of the most esteemed architects, designers, journalists, architectural photographers, and creative directors from around the world, such as AMDL Circle, the multidisciplinary studio founded by Michele De Lucchi; Danish architects Norm Architects; architect and designer Hannes Peer; colorist, interior designer, and photographer Tekla Evelina Severin; artist Pietro Terzini; and other prominent figures in the design world.

Among the products distinguished for originality, innovation, and experimentation was Hideo’s IN-2000-E/Infinity Bio bathtub, a reinterpretation of the flagship model IN-2160/Infinity. This new version, manufactured in Italy, is made from CRISTALPLANT®BIOBASED® Active, an eco-friendly material created from Biobased® plant-derived resin with antibacterial photocatalytic properties. Aesthetically defined by smooth, flowing lines that evoke the infinity symbol, its generous dimensions comfortably accommodate two people.
