PAOLA LENTI OUTDOOR COLLECTIONS – THE AUBERGE DU PÈRE BISE ON THE SHORES OF LAKE ANNECY

The perfect harmony of Paola Lenti collections within the breathtaking view.

The iconic architecture of Auberge du Père Bise in Talloires owned by renowned French chef Jean Sulpice and his wife Magali has recently been transformed into a five-star hotel, two restaurants, a bar, a boutique for gourmet products, and a spa. The redesign of the outdoor spaces was the final, most delicate task. The solution came from La Pépinière Charvin (landscape designer) which suggested exploring the outdoor offerings of Paola Lenti collection

Paola Lenti furniture defines the function and identity of three outdoor areas: the elevated, shaded terrace hosting the gourmet restaurant and an exclusive lounge reserved for hotel guests; the lake-level terrace where the Marius Bar is located, with its cool and relaxing atmosphere; and the solarium, a more secluded area away from prying eyes.

“In this project, the study of the existing architecture and surrounding landscape, the reflections of the lake’s water, the colours of the flowers and leaves, guided us in creating the right palette for the site – and the only possible one, because it already existed,” says Paola Lenti.

The restaurant features Giro table tops in natural tones, a unique oval Concreto table, and elegant Portofino chairs creating an ambiance. Telar chairs with handweaves offer a view of the lake. Elastic belts on the chairs reflect the lake’s colors and surrounding wildflowers.

Custom bar counter with Sciara vertical element covering, combining lava stone and glass for unique color effects. Strap side tables paired with Baia sun beds in solarium create a calm, soothing atmosphere.

After sunset, the warm, perfectly modulated light of the Taiki lamps, in green shades, transforms the open-air terraces into intimate places for indulgence.

The outdoor project at the Auberge du Père Bise is the result of a fruitful collaboration between Jean Sulpice, art director George Riu, La Pépinière Charvin, and Paola Lenti.

The result of this outdoor project demonstrates its exquisite style, where elegance is expressed through the contemporary design of the products, the technical qualities of the materials, the craftsmanship, and the exclusive colours, all in perfect harmony with the site.
