Unveils the Latest Collection at MDW 2024

Located in Milan with a mono-brand showroom at Via Privata Battista de Rolandi 14 (Certosa area), the Japanese brand Hideo showcases its world of high-end freestanding bathtubs designed by Hideo Shimizu, the brand’s designer and founder.

In the spacious former industrial area, where high windows allow abundant light to filter through, a sophisticated exhibition project communicates the qualities of all the models, true furnishing “sculptures” that go far beyond their primary function and reinterpret the concept of the hot bath intended as a healthy moment for the wellbeing of body and soul according to the ancient Japanese ritual (Ofuro). Each bathtub is the fruit of a careful aesthetic and ergonomic study aimed at offering a reassuring “embrace” and top performance thanks to the fluid and dynamic design, the silky material, and the slender rounded edges of each piece.

During Milan Design Week 2024, the bathtub IN-2000/Infinity-Bio, a revisitation of the leading model IN-2160 /Infinity, captured particular attention from trade journalists and designers. The new version, produced in Italy, is made of CRISTALPLANT®BIOBASED® Active, an ecological material created with Biobased® resin of vegetable origin and recycled PET, featuring antibacterial photocatalytic properties. Aesthetically characterized by soft and sinuous lines that seem to define the symbol of infinity, its generous dimensions can comfortably accommodate two people.
