Where Art, History, and Innovation Converge
It is between light and shadows, where the glass becomes poetry, that VENINI has written its history. For over a century, Murano master craftsmen have transformed molten matter into luminous works of art. VENINI’s Art Light Collections are not merely lighting fixtures, but guardians of an artistic heritage that intertwines the past and the future, tradition and innovation.
Nopuram design by Ettore Sottsass
Created for practical purposes such as reading, the table lamps transformed with the advent of electricity in the 19th century. They evolved from the refined Art Nouveau styles to the modern lines of the 20th century, becoming unique design pieces. Today, they are an essential element in both interior decoration and the daily functionality of our homes and workplaces.
Presented by Melandas Indonesia
VENINI has successfully blended the ancient art of blown glass with contemporary design, creating masterpieces that illuminate and enrich the homes of those who choose them. Each lamp, from the elegant lines of the classic models to bold contemporary creations, reflects a passion for beauty and light, adapting to any setting and need.
Belboi, Tolboi, and Stillboi: Modern Classics
Now considered modern classics, the Belboi, Tolboi, and Stillboi models have enjoyed uninterrupted success since the first editions. These lamps are a perfect fit for traditional settings as well as mid-century modern and contemporary environments. Each item is a masterpiece of craftsmanship, featuring an opaline glass diffuser elegantly edged with colored glass and a crystal stem with a colored core. The gold-plated metal base and supports add a discreet touch of luxury, making these lamps true luminous jewels for any space.
Zoe: A Millenary Dialogue between Venice and the East
The Zoe collection, conceived by Doriana and Massimiliano Fuksas, represents a perfect fusion of tradition and innovation. The evocative shape of a Chinese lantern, achieved through the skillful crafting of blown opaline glass with an overcoat of colored glass, evokes the millenary dialogue between Venice and the East. The gold-plated structure not only sustains the delicacy of the glass but also adds an element of refinement that enhances any setting, transforming light into a cultural and sensory experience.
Bhusanam, Kiritam, Nopuram, and Darpanah: The Geometric Boldness of Ettore Sottsass.
The Bhusanam, Kiritam, Nopuram, and Darpanah lamps are the fruit of the inspiration that the legendary designer-architect drew from the medium of glass. These lamps, characterized by elementary geometric shapes and strongly contrasting colors, are assembled into complex structures that reflect Sottsass’s design philosophy. Each lamp is a work of art, not just a design object.
