Scarlet Splendour, the Kolkata-based luxury design brand has recently unveiled two new products which are significantly made the brand back in the spot light.

The first product is the introduction of Skin, the signature art panels creating rich, dramatic vibe for contemporary interiors. Using ancient Indian crafts or their notions in the contemporary context, the versatility of Scarlet Splendour’s Skin can be applied to any kind of wall, partition or furniture, including cabinets, bars, headboards, tables and much more.

The founders of the company, Ashish Bajoria and Suman Kanodia, aimed to showcase India’s craftsmanship on a global scale by creating SKIN panels made by local artisans using various materials. The panels feature different patterns and materials such as straw, resin, brass, and semi-precious stones, with unique oxidation processes on metals.

The second product is String Sideboard & String Cabinet by Nika Zupanc. Just imagine the richness and the glowing of gold in your home interior. Strings Sideboard and Strings Cabinet, designed by Nika Zupanc, is the perfect harmony of contemporary style and elegance. These are metal furniture made of multiple delicate steel “strings” finished in high gloss gold with a lace like edge to make elegant objects. The spaces between the rods add a delicate touch to these products: you will want to run your fingers on each metallic string to admire the excellent craftsmanship and brilliant design.
