BETWEEN THREADS OF TIME
At Sahrai Milano’s showroom on Via A. Manzoni 38, something extraordinary is unfolding. Sahrai Senses is more than an exhibition — it’s a deeply personal journey through nearly 200 years of the Sahrai family’s heritage in luxury rugs.

Born from a long-standing connection to the Persian carpet tradition, the experience brings together past and future, craftsmanship and innovation, memory and imagination — all told through the five senses.

Presented by Magran Living
As you enter, the scent of Persian roses softly welcomes you, a gentle nod to the culture that inspired this world. Light and sound guide your steps, leading you into a space where rugs become stories.

At the center is the Infinity Rug, brought to life through poetic video projections. As it unrolls, it reveals a breathtaking collection — antique rugs passed down through generations, and modern masterpieces from the Parsa Collection, woven using some of the most refined techniques in the world.

One of the most moving moments comes with the unveiling of a 19th-century Heriz rug, never shown to the public before. Hand-knotted in natural silk and commissioned by a Persian king for his queen’s private quarters, it’s a rare and intimate piece of history — and a symbol of love and craftsmanship.

In the Secret Chai Room, the journey turns inward. Here, the Sahrai family offers their guests a moment of pause — a traditional tea ceremony, rooted in hospitality and connection.

And finally, in the Chroma Gallery, color takes center stage. Thousands of shades, drawn from the intricate designs of Sahrai rugs, dance across the walls in a stunning AI-enhanced projection. It’s a quiet celebration of beauty, detail, and the endless inspiration found in tradition.

Curated with care and vision — in collaboration with London-based design studio Reality is__ , Sahrai Senses is a celebration of where the brand has been, and where it’s going. It’s about honoring the past, embracing the present, and dreaming boldly into the future.
