Unveil Their First Joint Bags Collection

Life-affirming, smart, and made with meticulous attention to detail – the bags from the new label SIEGER by Souleway are destined to become personal favourites and everyday companions. With four iconic formats and six extravagant designs, the collection offers plenty of variety. All the bags are highly versatile: you can take them to the shops, the gym, the beach, or on holiday. So that wearers can keep enjoying their bags for a very long time, they’re responsibly handmade in Germany using high-quality canvas.

The new label SIEGER by Souleway blends the expertise of two brands into an extraordinary collection – as can be witnessed in SIEGER’s life-affirming designs and palpably felt in Souleway’s expert craftsmanship. At the heart of the collection is a universal tote bag in two sizes, supplemented by a spacious weekender and a compact, multifunctional utility bag. There’s a total of 26 bags to choose from, for which designer Michael Sieger created six striking designs: two animal patterns – The Octopuses and The Sharks; two superheroes – Glamour Girl and Marvellous Monkey; and two graphic motifs – Star Explosion and The Wave.

Durable & smart
The SIEGER by Souleway Bags are set apart by their high-quality materials and smart design. They’re made from water-repellent natural cotton, which makes them highly robust and durable. Only meticulously designed eyelets, snap hooks, and zips are used for the label. The bags also have a host of smart features and functions to make them reliable everyday companions. For example, the tote bags optionally come with an integrated utility bag that can be detached and used as a clutch. The utility bag can also be carried with a handle or worn as a cross-body bag using the supplied strap.

Fair & sustainable
All bags in the SIEGER by Souleway Collection are handmade in Germany in an environmentally and socially responsible way. The bags’ high durability and the efficient use of materials help to make the collection more sustainable. For instance, the sewing patterns are arranged in a way that keeps waste to a minimum. To prevent overproduction, the bags are made in small batches at a studio located right next door to the Souleway Offices in Hamburg. Souleway has a close, trusting relationship with the studio team, who enjoy fair working conditions. Locally based production means products only have to be transported a short distance to the main sales markets, which keeps carbon emissions low.

Bag formats

The Weekender
The spacious Weekender is the perfect companion for your next short trip – or a longer one where you want to travel light. It’s available in five extravagant designs. The Weekender has been reinforced for optimum stability and has a zippable inside pocket. Two zips at the top of the main body allow the Weekender to be opened wide so that clothes can be stacked neatly inside. There is also an optional fabric-covered base shaper insert with fold-up sides. The carrying straps run all the way around to ensure heavier loads are distributed more evenly. One final smart detail: The Weekender comes with a shoe bag in the same colour as the lining.

The Tote Bags L and XL
The Universal Tote Bags are designed to be free-standing and highly stable. These versatile all-rounders can be used to carry groceries, documents, or sportswear – and since they don’t have an inner lining, they’re ideal for beach trips too. The Tote Bags are available in two sizes and a total of six versions – each optionally with or without an integrated utility bag that can be detached and used separately. There is also a small pocket inside for AirTags.

The Utility Bag
The compact Utility Bag is perfect for storing your favourite little treasures that accompany you on many journeys. It can be used as a clutch or, optionally, carried with a handle or worn as a cross-body bag using a strap. Both the strap and handle are supplied with the bag. The utility bag from SIEGER by Souleway comes in eight versions.

The Canvas Fabric
The materials used for the bags, like the canvas fabric, are sourced from Turkey. The canvas is made of 100% natural cotton, which is individually woven and printed for SIEGER by Souleway. The material is extremely robust and easy to clean.

The canvas is impregnated using REPELLAN® technology. By contrast with standard methods that rely on a PFC and PFA coating, REPELLAN® uses an ultra-low surface tension to provide maximum protection against moisture and dirt. The hydrophobic textile treatment is approved by bluesign®, GOTS, and Oeko-Tex®, which means it is certified free of harmful substances.
