Each unique LUIZ product bears our family name as a guarantor of its exceptional quality and workmanship “made in Germany”. Expertise and precision have been the basis of the luxurious elegance that has distinguished our manufactory’s high-quality textiles since 1969. The sisters, Anna and Barbara LUIZ, who are now the third generation to run the family business, value the special quality of craftsmanship and handpicked materials. Based on their passion for outstanding design, they take time to provide personal and attentive service, focussing on detailed advice for each customer. Anna is the first point of contact in the showroom and a passionate designer who brings her unerring instinct for exceptional fabrics and unusual textiles to the design process. Barbara, an architect with remarkable intuition for staging interiors, accompanies the creation of the products with dedication – from the initial design to its perfect handcrafted realization.

LUIZ’s unique potential lies in our expertise. The experienced seamstresses and seamsters in our in-house studio have mastered every aspect of their metier. Whether bed linen, table linen, curtains, plaids, or bathroom textile items are of certified quality. Made from selected materials, they are inspiring thanks to unusual textures and finely nuanced color worlds.

UNIQUENESS WITH ONE-OF-A-KIND ITEMS MADE TO MEASURE
Our manufactory is the centerpiece of LUIZ. Experience specialists here use unique know-how and craftsmanship they have learned over decades of dedicated work to create one-of-a-kind textile items. Each piece, crafted with commitment in our atelier, is distinguished by its precise execution. Traditional craftsmanship refines the highest quality materials into individually designed, long-lasting companions that are unmistakable as their owners.

BED BISOU
This new bed joins LUIZ’s bed collection, which now comprises eleven designs by designer Peter Fehrentz. “Bisou” is as light as a kiss: the attached apron forms a ten-centimeter-tall shadow gap and lends a floating character to our “Bisou” model. The bed’s delicate appearance is emphasized by its slimmer headboard, which is only about eight centimeters deep, has a modular design, and is available in three versions. The three fixed panels can be supplemented on request with two fixed or optionally two folding side sections that gently embrace the sleeper. Choose from more than 130 LUIZ bed upholstery fabrics in many different colors for the headboard and bed frame. Thanks to high insertion depth, the bed frame can accommodate any slatted frame and mattress system at a comfortable height, including motorized systems.

Bisou

STILL LIFE
Strength dwells in tranquility. Our new “Still Life” collection augments LUIZ’s portfolio with nine new curtain and upholstery fabrics featuring a pure and serene look. The selected fabrics are impressive thanks to their appealing feel and special textures, which are created through various weaves and yarn compositions. Whether soft bouclé or chenille yarn, gently structured linen mix, or textured double weave: the quality that you love to treat yourself to feels so good and should not be underestimated, especially in turbulent times. In a palette of natural tones, the four semi-transparent decorative fabrics and five thicker fabrics, can used as both curtains and upholstery. They can combine optimally well with existing portfolios as well as with one another.

PEPPA
Hard-wearing, versatile “Peppa” is just as suitable for seat upholstery as it is for heavy curtains. Each color is created from a two-tone melange that is sometimes richer, sometimes less rich in contrast. This comfortable yet robust textured fabric is made from a mix of materials, including linen. it radiated its cozy appeal particularly well on upholstered furniture.

POLLY
“Polly” combines a soft viscose chenille yarn with a cotton warp to create a textured fabric with an expressive look and a very soft feel. The balance between characterful structure and timeless appeal makes this exclusive item ideal for upholstery or curtains in any setting.

WINDSOR
Our “Windsor” upholstery fabric translates the classic chevron or herringbone pattern into an exciting material language. The simple woven pattern is particularly expressive thanks to the use of soft, irregularly textured natural yarns. Strikingly vivid colors and their combinations further enrich this collection with their elegance. “Windsor” is suitable as an upholstery fabric, for decorative cushions or curtains.

TWIST
“Twist” upholstery fabric presents itself in a contemporary, partly two-colored bouclé look for sophisticated uses. Thanks to the composition of different yarn thicknesses, this fabric has very good functional properties. Available in thirteen modern colors, “Twist” is exceptionally easy to care for, washable and durable.

VALLEY
A skillful blend of various materials and wool qualities in different yarn thicknesses gives “Valley” its characteristically irregular texture. The wool lends volume to the fabric, which is particularly well suited for upholstery and is available in four subtle colors from chalk to grey.

FLINT FR
Our semi-transparent, double-width “Flint FR” curtain fabric perfectly combines functionality and design. This fine, two-colored fabric is flame-retardant, washable, and made largely from recycled yarn. “Flint FR” is also captivating thanks to its attractive price and its extensive color palette of 22 different nuances.

NET
This room-height curtain fabric is very durable thanks to the combination of polyester and linen. The natural, pure appearance of this fabric with a subtle sheen is reflected in a soft color palette of nine modern neutral hues. A slightly washed, crushed finish gives “Net” its charmingly casual and modern look.

CELESTE
“Celeste” is a broad-woven fabric that combines recycled polyester and cotton fibers into a two-tone melange with a vibrant texture. The fifteen soft shades of this yarn-dyed textile are perfectly coordinated to accompany the nuances of LUIZ’s existing collection. A special stone-wash finish makes this curtain fabric particularly soft and accentuates its structure.

TWIN
The room-height “Twin” curtain fabric creates a casual feel-good atmosphere as a window decoration. “Twin” is impressive thanks to its two-tone color scheme and its natural feel and soft drape, which are further enhanced through the use of wool. Available in nineteen different colors, the double weave is subtly conjoined at regular intervals so it can used on both sides.

THROWS AND BLANKET
Our new plaids “Kitty” and “Ombré” are casually elegant everyday companions made of cozy wool.

The 160 x 215 cm plaid “Ombré” is made of wonderfully soft wool yarn and is impressive thanks to its gentle color gradient from dark to light grey. The open warp and weft threads form short fringes all around.

The rib-knitted “Kitty” plaid is made of 100% extra-fine merino wool. It is available in various colors and is oversized: measuring 200 x 240 cm, this plaid with decorative five-cm-long fringes is also suitable as a bed throw.
