Inspired by the fabled gardens of love built by Emperor Shah Jahan for his queen, Shalimar became the world’s first amber perfume redefining sensuality and passion in the language of scent.

A century later, its legend lives on — reborn in a sensual new collaboration between Maison Guerlain and The St. Regis Bar Jakarta, Asia’s #22 in Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2025.

Throughout October 2–31, 2025, The St. Regis Bar becomes the stage for an intoxicating dialogue between fragrance and mixology — a poetic celebration where scent and taste entwine in a symphony of luxury. Guests are welcomed by the alluring trail of Shalimar before embarking on a multi-sensory cocktail journey inspired by its voluptuous and mysterious spirit.

Three bespoke cocktails capture the essence of Shalimar — its sensual amber notes, its whisper of vanilla and smoke, its promise of eternal love. Each glass comes with a delicate perfume blotter, inviting guests not only to sip, but to breathe in the perfume of eternal love — turning each moment into a symphony of aroma and emotion.

The first, Shalimar 100th Anniversary Edition by Janaïna Milheiro, is a breathtaking reinterpretation of the iconic flacon — limited to only 66 numbered pieces worldwide, with just one destined for Indonesia. The bottle is adorned with delicate, hand-crafted feathers in vibrant hues inspired by Frida Kahlo, and finished with a bright pink wax seal — a meticulous signature applied by Guerlain’s legendary Dames de Table.

The second, Bouquet de la Mariée by Philippe Ferrandis, is a collector’s jewel that fuses haute parfumerie with high jewelry artistry. Limited to 53 pieces, this reinterpretation of Guerlain’s iconic Bee Bottle (1853) is adorned with 28 enameled flowers, each meticulously set with crystals and pearls, radiating both romance and craftsmanship.

The collaboration was inaugurated with an exclusive media evening on October 2, marking the start of a month-long celebration at Jakarta’s most distinguished address.
