At this most magical time of the year, the Milanese Atelier invites you to immerse yourself in the wonderful world of the stars, with an exclusive digital and physical experience

For Christmas 2024, Fornasetti celebrates one of the most fascinating themes in its creative universe, namely the stars and the zodiac, which embellish the new creations unveiled for the festive season. The twelve Tema e Variazioni – Zodiaco plates, which combine the face of Fornasetti’s muse Lina Cavalieri with the most emblematic features of the signs of the zodiac, are at the heart of Fornasetti Planetarium, a digital experience designed for lovers of astrology and the Fornasetti universe.

For the first time, from Monday 11 November, the Atelier’s decorative language penetrates the world of gaming with a web app specially designed to offer a journey among the constellations of the zodiac, challenging the player’s speed and reflexes. The game, which can be accessed via a dedicated link or QR code, starts with the user selecting their zodiac sign. The challenge begins when the Tema e Variazioni – Zodiaco plates appear on the device’s screen, floating freely in the heavens: the goal is to “hit” the greatest number of plates featuring one’s sign of the zodiac in the time available, by tapping them with one’s finger, to get the highest possible score. At the end of the game, there is an exclusive prize: the Fornasetti horoscope for 2025 dedicated to the player’s sign. So everyone can find out what the stars have in store for the coming year, interpreted with the irony that is a key component of the Atelier’s DNA.

To make the experience even more immersive, from Friday 8 November Fornasetti Planetarium will spill over into the Fornasetti Store in Milan, where certain points will be transformed into special observatories from which to admire the firmament, rendered in true Fornasetti style. The Tema e Variazioni – Zodiaco plates, displayed at the entrance and in one of the three rooms on the first floor, dialogue with an exclusive site-specific wallpaper made by Cole & Son: the variations of Lina Cavalieri’s face stand out against a midnight blue background populated by enchanting images of the signs of the zodiac, while evocative projections heighten the sense of journeying among the stars. Visitors will be invited to enjoy the digital experience enveloped in the unique atmosphere created in the store, fully immersed in the magic of Fornasetti Planetarium.
